Nintendo Wii

After all the hype and intentions, I eventually succumbed and purchased a Nintendo Wii off eBay. I eventually arrived and I have to say it is brilliant. the last games console I actually bought was a Playstation, and this has been sitting in a cupboard for about 5 years now. The draw of the Wii was the game play. Having been teased by it at the clothes show, i decided that this is the future of game play and would be very surprised if microsoft and Sony don't included some similar kind of user experience in their next generation of console.
Currently we only have Wii Sports and one 'wiimote' but this is enough for me to be pleased with my purchase. My 2 year old son is particularly keen on the boxing game, although he is a bit boystrous with it. I hope to purchase extra controllers and a more indepth game to really get my teeth into.

The First Time

This is my first ever blog. How weird is that... still there has to be a first time for everything. Except for my son sleeping through the whole night... I don't think that'll ever happen. Git!
